You say:

The essentials say:

Excellent communication skills are required

You say:

“I have had advisory and instructional duties in accountancy and management business institutions.”

The essentials say:

The position requires experience in a structural analysis role within the retail industry.

You say:

“Currently I am involved in structural analysis where I work, which involves retail businesses in my local area. I also have previous experience in this type of analysis”.

Writing all the above in less than 100 words will make it clearer to the employer that you have the following:

  • The right amount of experience for the core business of the employer
  • The professional success required
  • The relevant familiarity within the sector mentioned (in this example it is retail)
  • Work locally (if this is a requirement)
  • Added commercial experience, which means you add value to the employer.
